THE IMPACT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY ON CLIMATE CHANGE

It is a known fact and quite indisputable that renewable energy must gradually replace fossil fuels to achieve measurable climate control . However apart from the obvious fact that renewable energy does not emit greenhouse gases and thereby does not disrupt the Ozone layer resulting in direct climate control , there are several other features of renewable energy that contribute immensely to Environmental upgradation.

There are many disaster zones in India where cyclones , earthquakes, floods, and other natural calamities, cause immense damage to livelihoods , property , demography and a host of other areas. If one were to evaluate the losses involved, the figures would be horrific , to say the least. Further investigation has revealed that much of the losses were due to poor Communication connectivity arising out of power shortages . Such instances are obviously tailor made for installation of renewable energy plants , particularly Solar power plants. These plants would not only earn carbon credit and diminish the use of fossil fuels, but also arrest foul air pollution due to use of diesel generating sets to substitute grid power. This is over and above the eradication of losses due to untimely Communication emanating from power outages

The more renewable energy is effectively used , the less is likely to be increase in temperature and natural calamities , and less would be the upsetting of the bio diversity chain and ecological cycle. Rises in temperature and coastal erosions are causing predators to retreat into the hinterland, causing disbalance to Nature Wheels, so essential for longevity of our planet

Similarly, the unprecedented heatwaves and weather disturbances are affecting productivity and performance of all human beings , making it very difficult for seamless progression of civilisation

Another aspect of renewable energy , again mostly Solar energy, is the crying need to install Solar streetlights and Solar pump systems in all nook and crannies of our country, to enable women to hygienically and safely attend to their Nature Calls. Without women in our productivity and income generating chain, there is absolutely no chance of achieving Vikshit Bharat ( Developed India ) by 2047

One can go on and on citing examples of the imperative need for renewable energy , beyond the obvious need to replace fossil fuels

It is now up to our Nation at large to enhance the capacity of solar power, wind power , hydraulic power, nuclear power, geothermal power and other sunrise sources of renewable energy – Hydrogen power / Bio Gas etc .
[24/03, 10:21] Sudip Sen: We must call upon all Corporates and start ups and incubators and grant organisations , to rise in union and provide all resources to catapult our Nation to the third largest economy by 2030 and Vikshit Bharat by 2047
